The course provides for the development and assessment of the knowledge, skills and attitudes of people wishing to ride ATV's in a correct, safe and responsible manner for recreation or business purposes in a wide range of off road environments . Training is conducted over one day with approximately 5 hours of instruction, practice and assessment.

Course content includes:

Pre-ride inspection/maintenance requirements
Loading of vehicles

Preparing to ride
Helmets
Eye protection
Gloves
Boots
Clothing
Controls/posture

Riding manoeuvres
Cornering
Braking
Swerving
Riding on hills
Riding over obstacle
Defensive riding strategies

The course is completed with a ride giving the students the opportunity to put some of the techniques covered during the day into a practical application to suit their particular recreational or work environment.

Every employer has a duty of care towards safety for their staff, driving an ATV vehicle off road is no exception. To satisfy these demands we offer this training course which covers employers Occupationally Health & Safety responsibilities in regards to “providing employees with information, instruction, training or supervision needed for them to work safely and without risk to their health”. (Taken from OH&S Act 2004) After successful completion of the course you will be issued with a certificate of completion.
